KIRK LEONI COMPLETES LEADERSHIP NH AND IS ELECTED TREASURER OF THE CONCORD COMMUNITY MUSIC SCHOOL BOARD OF TRUSTEES

(Concord, NH | June 22, 2009) – Nathan Wechsler & Company, P.A. is pleased to announce that Kirk Leoni has graduated from the 2009 Leadership New Hampshire program. In addition, Mr. Leoni has been elected Treasurer of Concord Community Music School Board of Trustees.

Leadership New Hampshire, developed in 1992, was created in response to recommendations from the Governor's Commission on the 21st Century to "identify emerging talent, motivate emerging leaders concerning statewide issues and perspectives; build on the expectation that they will take on leadership roles on statewide issues and develop a network for effective leadership."

Through a uniquely interactive, non-partisan educational experience, Leadership New Hampshire Associates explore the issues and challenges critical to the State of New Hampshire. This year-long program allows Associates to interact with top state officials, judges, educators, prison inmates, students, artists, corporate leaders, and others who influence NH in a variety of ways.

Mr. Leoni is an active member of the Concord community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, as well as several additional non-profit boards including Merrimack County United Way Campaign Committee, Leadership New Hampshire, Southport Youth sailing foundation, and now has been elected as treasurer for the Concord Community Music School board of trustees. He is also a member of the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Kirk advocates a team approach to problem solving and cultivating an environment that promotes open communication and professional development. This approach, along with national alliances, has helped grow Nathan Wechsler & Company, P.A. to one of the largest full-service accounting and tax firms in the state.
