NICOLE VINET OF NATHAN WECHSLER & COMPANY IS ELECTED TREASURER OF SEACOAST AREA BICYCLE ROUTES

(Concord, NH | July 15, 2009) – Nathan Wechsler & Company, P.A. is pleased to announce that Nicole R. Vinet has joined the Board of Directors of Seacoast Area Bicycle Routes (SABR), a non-profit bicycle advocacy group for the Seacoast region of New Hampshire and Southern Maine. In addition, Mrs. Vinet has been elected Treasurer of SABR.

SABR was originally formed in May 1992 as an all-volunteer group, and has grown and evolved over the past two decades. SABR has a strong core of individuals and members, dedicating to increasing cycling in the Seacoast region.

SABR has been involved in many cycling initiatives over the past sixteen years, from the $800,000 Rockingham Bicycle/Pedestrian Bridge linking Portsmouth to Pease in 1999 to the official opening of the NH Seacoast Greenway (New Hampshire’s complete portion of the 2500-mile East Coast Greenway) this past September. SABR has been working with both New Hampshire and Maine to ensure the inclusion of bicycle and pedestrian elements in the renovation of the Memorial Bridge and Little Bay Bridge expansion. SABR has also organized the annual Seacoast Bike/Walk to Work Day for the past five years and has been the parent organization behind the Portsmouth CRITERIUM bicycle race since 2000.

Nicole R. Vinet attained CPA certification in January 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire in May 2006. She was employed as a tax preparer and bookkeeper at JH Bookkeeping before joining Nathan Wechsler & Company, P.A. in September 2006. She is currently a Senior Accountant with the firm and her client responsibilities include a variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing, retail, and employee benefit plans. Nicole is a member of the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She lives in Newmarket, New Hampshire.

Nicole has been a recreational mountain biker for approximately ten years. Recently, her attention has turned toward road riding and the development of safe bicycle routes in and around the Seacoast area. Nicole brings some greatly appreciated financial expertise to a cause that she believes in.
