WAYNE GEHER OF NATHAN WECHSLER & COMPANY SPEAKS AT MANCHESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE

(CONCORD, NH | MANCHESTER, NH | January 6, 2010) – Nathan Wechsler & Company, P.A. is pleased to announce that Wayne Geher delivered a speech at Manchester Community College on December 2nd, 2009.

Mr. Geher spoke to the Accounting Club at Manchester Community College regarding career opportunities for graduating students entering the public accounting field and what a typical day in the life of an accountant entails.

Wayne B. Geher is the director of the forensic and litigation division, and the Governmental and Single Audit accounting division of Nathan Wechsler & Company, P.A. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in Public Accounting from Pace University, Lubin School of Business, in 1980. Wayne joined Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA in 1986 and was made a principal in 1988. Wayne was appointed for a five-year term to the New Hampshire State Board of Accountancy by the Governor’s office, which commenced on January 1, 2007.

Wayne is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Granite State Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners, the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. An active member of his community, Wayne has served with several local nonprofit organizations. He was Chairperson and Treasurer of the Community Services Council of New Hampshire for six years and fifteen years, respectively. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Children’s Place in Concord, was a director of Prevent Child Abuse of New Hampshire, and served as Treasurer of Associated Builders and Contractors of New Hampshire/Vermont.
