KIRK LEONI SPEAKS AT NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE COUNCIL ON THE ARTS

(CONCORD, NH | June 9, 2010) – Nathan Wechsler & Company, P.A. is pleased to announce that Kirk Leoni was a guest speaker for the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts “Sustaining an Arts Nonprofit” event on May 25, 2010.

The State Council on the Arts discussed Board and Non-Profit governance in challenging times. Mr. Leoni presented on the Perspective on Board Engagement, sharing his perspective as a board member of a non-profit and discussing the “the mission driven budget.”

Kirk B. Leoni is the managing director of Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Cum Laude, at the University of Massachusetts’ Isenberg School of Business in 1976. He spent nine years at Coopers & Lybrand where he became an audit manager concentrating on emerging businesses. Kirk joined Nathan Wechsler & Company, P.A. in 1985 and was admitted as a principal in 1989. He is a member of the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Leoni is an active member of the Concord community. He serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Leadership New Hampshire; on the Board of Directors for the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce; as well as for several additional non-profit boards including Merrimack County United Way Campaign Committee, Southport Youth Sailing Foundation, and has recently been elected treasurer for the Concord Community Music School Board of Trustees.
