Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA is pleased to announce that Melissa Biron, CPA and Kelli D’Amore, CPA will present a workshop on “Understanding Nonprofit Financials” for the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits.
Presented in partnership with Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA, the “Understanding Nonprofit Financials” workshop will take place on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 PM at the Hannah Grimes Center in Keene. The cost for NH Center for Nonprofits members will be $25; for non-members, $50.
“It’s a privilege to give back to the nonprofit community by helping leaders gain a greater understanding of their organization’s financial situation,” explained Biron. “We also hope to provide them with strategies for building a successful future.”
The NH Center for Nonprofits is a statewide nonprofit association dedicated to supporting nonprofit organizations through a variety of programs and resources. The Center partners with sector leaders, businesses, and the broader community in order to carry out their mission to “strengthen and give voice to the state’s nonprofit sector through leadership, collaboration, and learning opportunities.”

A manager at Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA, Biron has been with the firm since 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Plymouth State University and is a 2013 graduate of the Leadership Greater Concord Program. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA). She also sits on the board of the Penacook Community Center and is member of the Child and Family Services Finance Committee.
D’Amore joined Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA in 1999 and currently serves as a principal; she is the director of the firm’s nonprofit practice. A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In addition, she is a graduate of Leadership New Hampshire, Leadership Greater Concord, and the Transformational Leadership program. D’Amore is a member of the AICPA and the NHSCPA and serves on the boards of a number of community organizations, including the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and Goodwill Industries of Northern New England.
