Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA is pleased to announce that Kirk Leoni, CPA, Principal, was recently re-elected as Chair of Canterbury Shaker Village. This will be Leoni’s third term chairing the organization’s board of trustees.
“It’s been an honor and a privilege to serve the Canterbury Shaker Village for the last two years, and I’m very pleased to continue in my role as chair of the board of trustees,” said Leoni. “The preservation of local history is a cause that is near and dear to my heart, and I’m thrilled to contribute to it through serving this valuable organization.”
Founded in 1969, Canterbury Shaker Village, Inc., is an internationally renowned non-profit museum devoted to upholding the 200-year legacy of the Canterbury Shakers. Visitors to the Village are encouraged to explore and learn via tours, programs, exhibits, research, and publications. The site encompasses nearly 700 acres and includes 25 restored original Shaker buildings, 4 reconstructed Shaker buildings, along with forests, fields, gardens, nature trails, and mill ponds. Leoni joined Nathan Wechsler & Company in 1985 and currently serves as a principal of the firm. He specializes in working with mergers and acquisitions and serving the construction and manufacturing industries. He is also Director of the firm’s Manufacturing and Wholesale Services team. Leoni graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Business in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA).
