Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA is pleased to announce that Debra L. Achramowicz, CPA, was recently elected to a one year term as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire.
“It has been a privilege serving the Visiting Nurse Association, and I am pleased to be taking on the additional responsibilities of Treasurer,” said Achramowicz. “This organization is an invaluable resource and has had such a positive impact on the local community. I am proud to play a role in its successful operation.”
Founded in 1897, the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the community by providing compassionate, caring and accessible health care. The VNA helps the residents of the greater Manchester community face the challenges of recovering from surgery, physical disabilities, short-term, chronic or life-limiting illnesses so they can enjoy a quality of life while maintaining their dignity in the comforts of home.
Achramowicz is a manager at Nathan Wechsler & Company, where she specializes in retail, professional practices, and closely-held businesses. She is also a team resource in estate and trust tax matters and certified as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Achramowicz holds a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA), and New Hampshire Estate Planning Council. Previously, she served as a Board Member and Finance Committee Chair of Sebasticook Valley Health, and was a Rotarian in Waterville, Maine.
