Matt overseas all phases of audit, accounting, and tax services for his clients.  However, he also focuses his time in developing the business valuation and due diligence services lines of the firm.  He works with closely held businesses in transition. He has experience working with private equity, self-funded and externally funded searchers as well as family entities looking to transition ownership to the next generation. Matt advises both sellers and buyers in determining value, due diligence, working capital and tax strategy. His background working on both attest and tax engagements has allowed him to apply a broader knowledge to transactions that has made him a valuable business advisor.
