Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA is pleased to announce that Cyndi Hetu, EA was recently elected treasurer of the New Hampshire Foster and Adoptive Parent Association (NHFAPA).
“I consider it a great privilege to serve the NHFAPA and I am very pleased to take on the responsibilities of treasurer,” said Hetu. “This organization provides an incredibly valuable service to foster and adoptive families in the local community and I am pleased to play a role in its operations.”
The mission of the NHFAPA is to “support foster and adoptive parents, and remain a consistent strong voice on behalf of all children.” The group facilitates meetings to connect foster and adoptive parents within the community and sponsors special events. For more information, visit www.nhfapa.com.
A member of the Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA team since 2016, Hetu currently serves as a tax associate. In this role, she is responsible for performing work on a variety of clients, including accounting, compliance, income tax return preparation, and special projects. Hetu attended Southern New Hampshire University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Accounting from Liberty University. She is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
