Nathan Wechsler Supervising Senior Named Treasurer for the Circle Program

Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA is pleased to announce thatD. James Mitkonis, CPA, Supervising Senior, was recently named Treasurer for The Circle Program. His appointment was approved during the organization’s February 27, 2017 meeting.  

“I’m excited to take on this new role with The Circle Program,” said Mitkonis, who has been serving as a Board Member and part of The Circle Program’s Finance and Investment Committee since 2016. “I look forward to contributing my talents as a CPA to the benefit of this worthwhile organization.” 

Founded in 1993, the Circle Program supports girls from low-income New Hampshire families by providing both year-round mentoring and access to residential summer camp programs. Their stated goal is to help the girls develop the skills, courage and confidence they need to handle the challenges in their lives. Mitkonis joined Nathan Wechsler & Company in 2012 and specializes in work for nonprofits and individual tax services. He directs all phases of audit engagements including planning and financial statement preparation, as well as the delivery of tax services to businesses and individuals. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, both from the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. Mitkonis is a member of the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants.
